Our goal when placing implants or performing grafting is accuracy and precision. Evidence using clinical trials data confirms that navigation will result in more accurate and more precise implant placement. Three common procedures will be shown to demonstrate the increased accuracy and precision using dynamic navigation – which utilizes on-line information during implant surgery. Procedures to be shown include: 1) proper angulation and positioning of implants in the aesthetic zone; 2) immediate placement of implants in molar sites; and 3) preparing sinus floor elevation using the dynamic navigation system to guide preparation location and depth, prior to elevation of the snus floor.

Fully guided navigation allows the surgeon to plan the operation according to the prospected final result. Nevertheless there are critical pitfalls that have to be considered. An update about the latest scientific knowledge and selected clinical cases will highlight the power and limits of this technique so that the follower’s skills will improve for sure.

Immediate Implant Placement is associated with known risks on the one hand but can also offer some obvious advantages to suitable patients. Dr. Daniele Cardaropoli shows you which new therapies and which techniques with regenerative materials can increase clinical success in your daily practice.
In addition to the hard tissue, special attention should also be paid to the soft tissue. Dr. Markus Schlee speaks from experience and clearly illustrates which approaches work and what should be given special attention for the benefit of the patient.

Digital technologies can be overwhelming, but they can also bring some difficulties in establishing protocols in the daily clinic flow.
In this session we will introduce some basic guidelines and go directly to the heart of confrontation between analogic and classic protocols in implant dentistry in the topic, Treatment plan and Surgical Aspects
We will dissect the newly formed clinical digital protocols and add the evidenced based research that is available to validate it.
