Aim of the session:
Discover the clinical possibilities with the NeoGen PTFE membrane

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract:
Join some of the world’s leading experts in the field of Guided Bone Regeneration presenting the clinical possibilities and science behind the NeoGen non-resorbable PTFE membrane.

Prof. Christer Dahlin will moderate the session and address the most recent findings regarding the design and biological function of the next generation of barrier membranes.

Dr. David González will focus on the surgical techniques regarding hard and soft tissue management for multiple tooth defects needing 3D bone augmentation in the upper anterior maxilla.

Prof. Massimo Simion will present a case-based vertical bone augmentation technique for single tooth defects in the esthetic zone.

Tuesday 6th October

20:30-21:10
Satellite symposium

Speakers name:
Gabor Tepper (Austria)
Lecture Title
3200 implants later. My clinical journey with the BLX implant.
Overall title
Advancing immediacy in your daily practice

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract
The number of concepts on immediate implant placement is steadily growing. At the same time, the world of dentistry is being transformed by digitalization. Both of which help the clinician in their daily routine by increasing precision and saving time.

During this lecture, the world-renowned speaker will share, discuss, and highlight clinical advancements on immediacy techniques and solutions for different reconstruction modalities.

Special attention will be given to the appropriate planning and selection of the most suitable treatment approach based on the patient’s unique anatomic and clinical situations.

22:20- 22:50
Satellite symposium

Speakers name:
Mirela Feraru (from Israel)
Lecture Title
Enhancement of the Peri-Implant Tissues Towards a Biologically-Oriented Aesthetic Restoration at the Smile Zone
Aim of the Session:
This presentation highlights the biologic concepts utilized when executing implant-based restorations at the smile zone, providing the audience with a comprehensive understanding of the state of the art clinical techniques implemented.

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract
In order to achieve a natural-looking result of artificial implant restorations, the operator must, before choosing a specific implant system and the restorative materials, analyze the operative site and plan for a healthy integration of the whole restorative complex and the implant fixture within the surrounding living tissues.

At the smile zone a primary goal is also to obtain natural-looking peri-implant soft tissue embracing a natural-looking functioning crown.

The accumulated insights of the last 20 years on bone and tissue response (and alterations) around implants, enable biologic-based implementation of different surgical and restorative approaches, so that the abutment-crown complex blends in with the adjacent tissue and dentition in complete health and harmony.

Wednesday 7th October

20:30-21:10
Satellite symposium

Speakers name:
Daniele Cardaropoli (Italy),
Markus Schlee (Germany)
Lecture Title:
Open healing situations, challenges of IIP and how to manage the soft tissue
Aim of the Session:
Learn new regenerative approaches for your daily practice

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract
Immediate Implant Placement is associated with known risks on the one hand but can also offer some obvious advantages to suitable patients. Dr. Daniele Cardaropoli shows you which new therapies and which techniques with regenerative materials can increase clinical success in your daily practice.

In addition to the hard tissue, special attention should also be paid to the soft tissue. Dr. Markus Schlee speaks from experience and clearly illustrates which approaches work and what should be given special attention for the benefit of the patient.

Thursday 8th October

20:30-21:10

Speaker:
Anton Sculean (Switerzland)
Title
Comparison of four different porcine-derived collagen matrices for soft tissue reconstruction and their wound healing potential

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract:
Various clinical indications such as coverage of gingival recession defects, gain of attached gingiva/attached mucosa, and thickening of peri-implant soft tissues alone or in combination with guided bone regeneration require frequently soft tissue augmentation. Today, autologous soft tissue grafts harvested from the palate represent the gold standard for soft tissue augmentation, but are associated with a number of shortcomings related to the increase in patient`s morbidity and anatomical limitations of the donor site. Increasing evidence indicates that acellular collagen matrices may represent a safe alternative to autologous soft tissue transplants in periodontology and implant dentistry. The presentation will provide new data on the adsorption and release of growth factors from different porcine-derived collagen matrices and on the migratory and proliferative properties of primary human oral fibroblasts (hOF) and periodontal ligament cells (hPDL) ) pointing to the potential clinical relevance of these materials in periodontology and implant dentistry.

22:20- 22:50
Satellite symposium

Speaker:
Marco Ronda (Italy)
Title
Reinforced Non-Resorbable  Membranes in Vertical and Horizontal Ridge Augmentation
Aim of the session
Demonstrate the feasibility and predictability of vertical and horizontal ridge augmentation techniques including flap design and flap assivation techniques, stabilization and anatomical adaptation of barrier membranes and use of titanium re-inforced membranes.

VIEW TRAILER

Abstract
Today regenerative surgical techniques are well-known and well documented, but sometimes are subject to complications that leave serious concerns from the outcome of the surgical procedure. In particular, for challenging bone defects which can be reconstructed with titanium-reinforced non-resorbable membranes, soft tissue management is, in fact, one of the key elements for undisturbed healing. During this webinar Dr. Ronda will share his knowledge about vertical and horizontal defect regeneration using titanium-reinforced non-resorbable membranes and bone graft particulates. Dr. Ronda will present clinical cases which demonstrate the feasibility and predictability of this procedure.
